Adaptive Sports Center – The Adaptive Sports Center (ASC) of Crested Butte, Colorado, is a national non-profit organization that provides life-enhancing recreation activities for people with disabilities and their families.

Arcess – This is the website of Nanogames, which sells downloadable computer arcade games that are accessible for various abilities and skill levels. Accessibility options include low vision, single switch, touch screen, keyboard, mouse/headmouse, eye tracking and speech recognition.

Autism on the Seas (AotS) – This “Autism Friendly” ship certification standard and training program provides assistance and accommodations so that children and adults with disabilities and their families can experience the ultimate cruise vacation. AotS partner cruise lines include Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Disney and Carnival.

Boy Scouts of America – This is the national website of the Boy Scouts of America, which provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. Curb Free with Cory Lee – Sharing the world from a wheelchair user’s perspective. This website features travel and accessibility blogs based on the writer’s own worldwide travel experiences.

Disability Travel and Recreation Resources – This is a collection of web links compiled by Mr. Jim Lubin who has quadriplegia and uses a ventilator.

DisabledTravelers.com – This website provides a listing of accessible travel specialists, including travel agents, tour operators, adventure travel companies, accessible cruise specialists, accessible van rentals & equipment, travel companions, home exchanges, and access guide for wheelchair users and other travelers with disabilities.

Disneyland Resort – This is the official website of the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks in California. There is a page dedicated to services for Guests with Disabilities.

Disney World – This web page provides links that outline services and facilities available for guests visiting any of the four major Disney World theme parks (The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom) in Florida. The web site has a FAQs page for Guests with Disabilities.

Emerging Horizons – Here you can find information, resources, news and travel tips for travelers with mobility disabilities.

Independent Living Institute – Their Travel and Leisure Resources page provides links to accessible travel and recreational programs around the world.

Kids Camps – This website offers a listing of camps available across the country, including a listing of camps for children with disabilities. The site allows you to look up camps by category/type as well as by geographic location.

Mikey’s Place – Here you can order the “Mikey’s Guide to Summer Camps and Activities for Children with Disabilities” (available in both English and Spanish).  Mikey’s Place also hosts an annual camp fair in February for Houston-area families of children with disabilities – see website for information.

National Aging and Disability Transportation Center – NADTC promotes the availability and accessibility of transportation options that serve the needs of seniors, people with disabilities and caregivers. A federally funded technical assistance center administered by Easter Seals and the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging, NADTC offers training, resources, technical assistance, information & referral, outreach, and community grants.

National Inclusion Project – The National Inclusion Project partners with community organizations to help develop all-inclusive recreational programs.

National Park Service – A free, lifetime pass (called the Access Pass) is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents, regardless of age, who have a permanent disability. The pass can be used at over 2,000 Federal recreation sites across the nation, including National Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, and many National Forest lands.

Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality – SATH is an educational nonprofit membership organization whose mission is to raise awareness of the needs of all travelers with disabilities, remove physical and attitudinal barriers to free access and expand travel opportunities in the U.S. and abroad. Members include travel professionals, consumers with disabilities and sponsors.

Special Globe – An accessible travel website created by a mom of a child with a disability based on her family’s personal travel experiences.

Special Olympics Texas – SOTX provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Click here to find your area SOTX office.

Toll-free Hotline for Air Travelers with Disabilities (U.S. Dept. of Transportation) – Air travelers who experience disability-related air travel service problems may call the hotline at 1-800-778-4838 (voice) or 1-800-455-9880 (TTY) to obtain assistance.

Transportation Security Administration – TSA’s Disabilities and Medical Conditions guide explains airport security screening procedures and disability-specific accommodations.  The TSA Cares helpline (855- 787-2227) is available to travelers with disabilities and medical conditions needing additional assistance during the security screening process (call 72 hours prior to travel).

Trips Inc. – Provides all-inclusive vacation packages for travelers ages sixteen and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
